Copywriting Tip:

Replace “if” for “when” in your copy.

Instead of saying: “If you buy X, we’ll give you Y for free”.

Say: “When you buy X, you’ll get Y for free!”

Assume you already got the sale.

Mortgage rates increasing as fast as they did created 3% interest rate golden handcuffs. Anyone with a 3% mortgage is now incentivized to stay put, resulting in shrinking housing inventory. This lack of inventory keeps prices high.

I don’t see how house prices come back down.

These social sharing buddies, they gotta go. They served a purpose when people curated a feed of helpful industry info. That era is gone, and these are a relic. Social media users now want to ratio, or post hot takes, or dance to trending songs - not share your milquetoast blog.

The most common landing page mistakes I see:

- They're focused on the solution they're selling, not the prospects

- They're making it about the features, not the problem those features solve

- They don't directly say who the solution is for, and make it for "everyone".

The difference between social content (e.g. LinkedIn posts) and blog content is that on the blog you can publish total crap and will see no evidence its total crap.

On social you get immediate feedback on whether your content resonates or not.

Publish on social first.… twitter.com/i/web/status/1…
