This week, we explore changes from YouTube that matter for marketers and give your our thoughts on what’s important, such as this update to banner links…

Early in August, the platform announced it was retiring banner links on August 10, 2023, and "introducing a new way to showcase important links" on channel pages. 

Now, a clickable description below the channel's username leads to the About tab with a description and up to 14 links.

Our Take: Rather than utilizing all 14 link spaces, pare down to no more than 3 links that prioritize what you're currently selling and promoting.
