Told my boss f*** you

I've been interning at a startup. I started 4 months back and the people there have been great. However, there are some issues

  1. As a sole copywriter - the only one who's in constant touch with me is the founder itself and they have a tendency to be insanely rude …
What made you quit marketing?

I've been working 4 years in direct marketing, 4 years in digital marketing, 1 year as marketing business analyst and half a year as a teamlead for aquisition.

Weird Email Marketing Tip:

Increase the font size of your emails.

The bigger your font is.

The easier it is to read.

The more people will read your emails.

The more clicks your CTA's will get.

How big?

Anywhere from 16px to 20px.

You really shouldn’t be afraid to promote your work. If you’re proud of it. If you think it’s good. If you think your audience would find value in it...

Promote it.

People think great copy is snarky, sassy, or clever.

No, great copy converts. If it doesn't, it's not great copy.

You can have what feels like great writing and it's still not great copy. The desired action is what matters, period.

Never write copy from scratch.

For structure, start with a proven framework.
For challenges/benefits, start by looking at competitors.
For phrasing, pull directly from customer feedback (no customers yet? use something like @copy_ai).

The more you pull from, the better.

so sometimes, an ad doesn’t need words to be effective.
